An analysis by the Kaiser Family Foundation has found that at least 90,000 deaths due to COVID-19 since June could have been saved if these Americans had been vaccinated. Fifty percent of these deaths happened in September. The brief also noted that COVID-19 was the leading cause of death in September, followed only by heart disease.
